about the event

Special guest Kim Allen, co-founder of Power the Vote, will provide an overview of the work of election protection at the local level and introduce the speakers.

All Voting is Local Action (AVL Action) is working to defeat disenfranchising legislation and hold accountable elected officials and candidates who attempt to silence voters in critical states including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. They focus on Black, Brown, Native American, and other historically marginalized communities.

Meet Alex Gulotta,  Arizona State Director of All Voting Is Local Action.

The Iowa Democratic Party is developing collaborative relationships with state and local election officials to proactively expand voter access and resolve large-scale election issues. They work with volunteers and staff to ensure all voters can vote, their votes are counted, and they are certified. Meet Rita Hart, Chair of the Iowa Democratic Party.
