People Are Needed to Help Protect the Vote!

The current regime is doing all it can to undermine free and fair elections because that’s the only way they can “win” in November and beyond.  But we and millions of others who value democracy are mobilized to counter these efforts. Here are some ways to join that work.

Force Multiplier has identified two especially effective organizations looking for help with their voter protection efforts: the North Carolina Democratic Party and Voter Protection Professionals (VoPro Pros.)

North Carolina Democratic Party

In November we must win a key Senate race and two House races in North Carolina.  The Democratic Party there is orchestrating two phonebanks to get out Democratic voters and ensure their votes count.

  • The Ready to Vote phonebank connects volunteers with NC Democratic voters whose registrations have been questioned.  They give voters accurate information to clarify and cure their registrations so they are able to vote.  CLICK HERE to reach the Ready to Vote Voter Phonebank

  • The Voter Access Team is a phonebank campaign recruiting NC voters to volunteer on voter hotlines, as poll watchers, and to provide other support for voters. CLICK HERE for more information.

Voter Protection Professionals

VoPro Pros is the leading non-profit voter protection organization in the US. Their mission is to “eliminate voter suppression and support free and fair elections by providing professional-grade support to partners in critical jurisdictions in the form of election support, voter outreach and education, data gathering, and technical expertise.”

 

VoPro Pros projects include helping voters receive mail-in ballots, fixing their identification information, and curing ballots to make sure they are counted.

 

If you can commit at least three hours each week, are comfortable using computers  and the internet, and are willing to learn the Slack software program, you may want to work with VoPro Pros.. To get started please submit an application to VoPro Pro  on their WEBSITE.
