Troy Jackson is a fifth generation logger, and former Majority Leader and President of the State Senate. He is running for the seat currently held by Susan Collins, who is seeking her sixth term.

Jackson’s campaign just got off the ground but already he has a decent chance of beating Susan Collins. His victory in Maine increases the probability of Democrats taking back the Senate in November
