Upcoming Event 3 Women Fighting to Flip House Seats Let’s Help Them Win in November! JoAnna Mendoza (AZ 06) is challenging a two-term incumbent who won by only 2.5% in ’24 in a district that Trump carried by a narrow 1-point margin. The race is rated a toss-up. Over JoAnna’s 20-years of military service in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, she deployed twice to Iraq, once to Afghanistan, and had the privilege of training the next generation of Marines as a Drill Instructor. Sarah Trone Garriott (IA 03) is challenging a two-term incumbent who won by 4% in ’24. Her race is also rated a toss-up. Sarah is a minister, a mom, a nonprofit leader, and an Iowa state senator who flipped two seats from red to blue, then won a district that went to Trump in ‘24. She still preaches on the weekends. Denise Powell (NE 02) is running in an open seat in one of just three Republican-held seats won by Kamala Harris in ‘24. The district is among the most evenly divided in the nation with a slim D+0.8 margin. Denise, a Latina, is a former corporate executive, small-business owner, health-care advocate, and public-school supporter. Midterm voting begins in about 160 days in some states. Supporting candidates, protecting elections, and registering voters will help Democrats win in November and end the MAGA madness. • Laura Gillen | Force Multiplier

Watch Short Video Laura Gillen New York 04 Incumbent Donate to Campaign Background + Experience Rep. Laura Gillen was first elected to Congress in 2024. She is a lawyer and mother of four who grew up in the district she currently represents. In 2017, Gillen became the first Democrat elected as Hempstead Town Supervisor in 112 years. As Supervisor, Laura managed a budget of nearly $500 million and led the operations of all town departments. She took aim at waste and corruption and made the town government more accessible, transparent, and accountable to taxpayers. Her cost-saving measures enabled the town to lower taxes for residents after years of tax hikes. In addition to her public service, Gillen has served the community throughout her career, from volunteering to care for people afflicted with AIDS at the height of that crisis, to working with Mother Teresa. During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, Gillen volunteered with All Hands and Hearts, distributing PPE to local police stations, businesses and health centers. Rep. Gillen attended Law School at Georgetown Law Center and NYU School of Law. In Congress, she serves on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, and the House Science, Space and Technology Committee. On the Issues Affordability: seeks to repeal SALT tax cap and take aim at the price gouging hurting Americans. Climate change: as Hempstead Supervisor, she took on big polluters and commenced litigation to help defer the huge cost of the filtration systems needed to remove contaminants. As a member of Congress, she will continue these efforts to preserve and protect Long Island’s shorelines and our earth. Reproductive freedom: endorsed by Emily’s List, she has been public about having had a medically necessary abortion after a rare and heartbreaking fetal death. Gillen recounts the trauma of the medical nightmare and the ensuing harassment by anti-choice activists as motivating factors in her fight to defend the right to abortions in the face of Republicans’ war on women’s reproductive freedom. Gun control: believes in background checks and wants to see gun violence treated as a public health crisis. Veterans: proposed and passed legislation to give veteran-owned businesses a competitive edge in bidding for government contracts. She continues to fight for veterans as a member of Congress. About the District NY 04 is in central and southern Nassau County, Long Island. The district was previously represented by Republican Anthony D'Esposito, who defeated Gillen narrowly in 2022 by 3.6%. Rep. Gillen defeated D’Esposito in 2024 by 2.4% in a district carried by Kamala Harris by just .8%. In 2020, Joe Biden defeated Trump by 5%. This rightward shift illustrates Republican strength in a very competitive swing district. At this point, there is no declared Republican opponent. The New York primary will be held in June 2025. The Cook Political Report rates this race as Toss up while Sabato's Crystal Ball rates this race as Lean Democrat. I’m focused on the priorities that matter to Long Islanders: taking on our cost-of-living crisis, fixing our broken immigration system, and keeping our communities and law enforcement safe. These are bipartisan priorities for Americans. We need bipartisan solutions. Laura Gillen About the District NY 04 is in central and southern Nassau County, Long Island. Watch Short Video Christina Bohannan New York 04 Challenger Donate to Campaign Background + Experience Christina Bohannan, a Florida native, earned her BS and JD from the University of Florida, graduating first in her law school class and serving as Law Review Editor-in-Chief. She clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and worked as an environmental engineer for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. In 2000, Bohannan moved to Iowa to join the University of Iowa College of Law faculty, later serving as Faculty Senate president. She represented Iowa’s 85th District in the State House from 2021 to 2023. Bohannan was the Democratic nominee for Iowa’s 1st Congressional District in 2022 and 2024, losing both races to Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks—the latter by just 799 votes after a recount. She is married with one daughter. On the Issues Reducing partisan gridlock and advancing common-sense solutions Building an economy where hard work offers a fair shot at success Ensuring government serves the people, not special interests Holding corporations accountable for price gouging Protecting Medicaid, Social Security, and veterans’ benefits Supporting middle-class tax cuts Expanding access to high-quality education, including technical and vocational training for high-skill, high-wage jobs About the District Iowa’s 1st District covers the state’s southeast, including Davenport, Iowa City, Burlington, and Indianola. Both U.S. Senate seats and all four U.S. House seats from Iowa are currently Republican. Once a presidential swing state—voting Democratic in six of seven elections before 2016—Iowa now leans solidly Republican, with a GOP trifecta controlling the governorship and both legislative chambers. As needed, the Iowa Primary is scheduled for 6/2/26. At this point, it appears that each candidate may face at least token Primary opposition. Still, IA-01 is considered one of Democrats’ best pickup opportunities in 2026. As of August, both the Cook Political Report and Sabato’s Crystal Ball rate the race a toss-up. Mariannette Miller-Meeks has had three terms in Congress – three chances to do right by the people of Iowa. Instead, she has taken over $4 million from corporate special interests and done nothing but vote their way. And she has put partisan politics over Iowans again and again. From cutting Medicaid, to siding with DOGE’s devastating cuts to Social Security, to enabling unelected, unaccountable billionaires like Elon Musk – Miller-Meeks has forgotten about us. It’s time someone put Iowa first. Campaign Announcement 6/17/25 About the District Iowa’s 1st District covers the state’s southeast, including Davenport, Iowa City, Burlington, and Indianola. • Take Action | Force Multiplier

Take Action! D efeating authoritarianism and restoring democracy requires us to take collective action that resists the MAGA regime and strengthens democratic institutions. Mass x velocity = momentum Protests matter. They provide a new narrative that challenges the autocracy They demonstrate that opposition to the actions of the government is widespread and legitimate and they give social permission to others to join. They help us affirm our rights by exercising them. They lay the foundation for other forms of action like economic boycotts and strikes. They create opportunities for people to cooperate and they combat isolation and despair. They generate feelings of solidarity. They impact voter turnout and electoral outcomes. But protests are not enough. Defeating authoritarianism and restoring democracy will require a wide range of tactics that weaken the regime and rebuild the rule of law. • Protect Elections Locally | Force Multiplier

Counter right wing propaganda and help reach the 54% of voters who get their news primarily from online sources. Protecting Elections Locally in Critical States As part of Force Multiplier’s strategy to fight autocracy and protect free and fair elections, we are raising funds for the North Carolina and the Iowa Democratic Parties to hire full time election protection staff. DONATE There are two groups in this fund: Iowa Democratic Party Iowa has a Republican Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, a Republican-controlled Legislature and Republican oversight of elections. However, under state law, both state parties have a unique role in election protection and voter protection. The Iowa Democratic Party is successfully developing collaborative relationships with state and local election officials and using those relationships to proactively expand voter access and resolve large-scale election issues. Force Multiplier is raising money for a staff member dedicated to election protection to work with volunteers and staff to ensure that all voters can vote, their votes are counted, and they are certified. This work supports a fair election process for the two House challengers in Iowa who are on Force Multiplier’s slate. North Carolina Democratic Party The North Carolina Democratic Party needs a second election protection worker, now that the Republican legislature has decentralized election administration to over 100, mostly Republican controlled, County Election Boards. Former Governor Roy Cooper is running for the Senate, and Rep. Don Davis (NC 01) is fighting to hold his House seat, after it was gerrymandered by the Republican legislature. DONATE

Kathy Castor Florida 14 Incumbent DONATE to the FM House Slate DONATE to Kathy's campaign • Return to the House Slate “No matter how lines are drawn on a map, I will continue to lower the cost of living and stand for my Tampa Bay neighbors. That’s why I remain committed to running for re-election in Florida’s 14th district. Governor Don Desantis and Republican lawmakers passed a gerrymandered congressional map to avoid accountability for raising the cost of health care, electric bills, insurance, and groceries. I will not stand for the corruption and waste that is too prevalent in government today. These new maps in Florida are blatantly illegal. ...” (Representative Castor Press Release, 5/1/26) To hear directly from candidate Castor, watch this short video: Democracy is at stake' in redistricting battle BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE Kathy Castor was born in Miami and raised in Tampa. She has a BA from Emory University in Political Science and a JD from Florida State University College of Law. As an undergraduate, she interned for US Senator Lawton Chiles and later became Assistant General Counsel for the Florida Department of Community Affairs. Subsequently, Castor was in private practice as a land-use attorney. She served on the Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners from 2002 to 2006 before election to Congress in 2006. She has held her seat since then. Castor is committed to building a stronger economy that works for everyone. As Ranking Member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee’s Energy Subcommittee, she is a leader in advancing energy policies that lower costs for families. Castor serves on Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade and Communications and Technology Subcommittees. ON THE ISSUES In Congress, Castor has worked on initiatives to create jobs, lower electric bills, protect the environment and consumers, improve schools, ensure veterans receive the benefits and care they have earned, provide access to affordable health care, and defend protections for people with preexisting health conditions. Bringing better-paying jobs to Tampa Bay is Castor’s first priority. She has successfully fought for new, well-paying job opportunities in Tampa Bay’s small businesses and large economic engines, including Port Tampa Bay, the University of South Florida, Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute, Tampa International Airport, MacDill Air Force Base, and federally qualified community health centers. POLITICS IN FLORIDA The Tampa and St. Petersburg area, core of Castor’s current congressional district, has been carved into four Republican-leaning congressional districts, leaving her in a precarious political position. The new 14th District probably would have been carried by Trump by about 11 points in 2024 and three points in 2020. Even in 2018’s blue wave, Republicans running for statewide offices won the district by single-digits. With her experience and proven track record, Castor has a good chance to hold her seat in this political environment. Republicans are not taking this race for granted. First elected to Congress two decades ago, Castor’s brand is well-established in the Tampa Bay area. In 2024, she outperformed the top of the ticket by a considerable margin, winning re-election by 15 points in a district that Kamala Harris won by less than eight. But Castor has never faced a competitive general election that requires considerable resources to prevail over Republican efforts. As a result of recent Florida gerrymandering, the race is rated Lean R by both Cook Political Report and Sabato’s Crystal Ball, meaning Republicans have a small edge but it remains competitive.

  • Engage Voters

Counter right wing propaganda and help reach the 54% of voters who get their news primarily from online sources. Engage Voters Online The majority of voters get most of their news online from non-traditional sources. The groups in this fund are working to engage and activate voters using trusted online messengers who fight propaganda and create and amplify pro-democracy content, including news. DONATE The five groups in the Engage Voters Online Fund: Voto Latino Voto Latino uses digital media messaging in English and Spanish to increase Latino turnout and Democratic support by registering, mobilizing, and persuading voters. It maintains a year-round, culturally-focused presence in key swing states and districts emphasizing affordability, health care, and Republican extremism. Voto Latino is working to reach the rapidly growing population of newly eligible, often less engaged young Latino voters. The median age of Latino voters is 30, ten years younger than the average voter. For 2026, Voto Latino plans a multi-pronged strategy centered on combating disinformation, expanding paid and volunteer outreach, and protecting or flipping competitive House seats where Latino votes could be decisive. The Rural House Accountability Project The Rural House Accountability Project uses hyper-local media to amplify the voices of real people in the rural communities where lives and families have been hurt by Republican policies and actions. The specific districts they target are IA 01, IA 03, PA 07, PA 08, PA10, and WI 03. The Project has four parts: (1) Recruit and train trusted members of the community in each district - parents, educators, small business people, veterans, farmers, small-town mayors, nurses, and other working people - to become storytellers and online content creators; (2) Help these trusted local messengers generate hyper-localized messaging about the consequences of federal cuts and policies; (3) Distribute this content across many partner organization social feeds, and peer-to-peer distribution channels, like church listservs and neighborhood groups; and (4) Integrate social media with relational organizing through Rural Democracy Initiative’s grassroots groups. Onyx Impact In 2023-24 the right inundated the Black community online with information designed to divide them, reduce trust in institutions, and suppress civic engagement. Democratic messaging in those online sites was almost absent. Founded in late 2023 by a veteran of Stacey Abrams’ Fair Fight, Onyx Impact aims to serve and empower Black communities by fighting the harmful information ecosystems targeting them. Force Multiplier is supporting their Black Media Amplifier, a distribution engine that scales culturally relevant, truth-based content. This ensures that progressive Black messages don’t just exist—they thrive. Onyx Impact provides social media influencers with talking points, research, and production support to put them in the best possible position to make an impact on the largest possible audience. They aim to reach 80-100 news, culture, and lifestyle amplifier accounts garnering up to 15 million monthly views and 1000 weekly posts. Courier Newsroom Courier Newsroom has online newsrooms staffed by on-the-ground reporters and supported by dedicated digital platforms in 20 states and a Washington, D.C. bureau. Together, they reach over 100 million weekly views with over 9 million online followers and subscribers. Aimed at politically disengaged folks - non-voters, independents, and cynics — Courier’s stories engage them through hyper-local issues such as bad sidewalks, high school sports, and local festivals. They include stories with a political bent into this mix. They’ve become trusted messengers and their staff have become locally-known celebrities. Courier Newsroom also translates news content into engaging and digestible pieces for use on digital platforms and provides content so folks receive news without being aware of it. They create source material used by other groups, elected officials, etc. Chorus Chorus supports progressive and pro-democracy content creators to expand their reach and educate their audiences about everything happening in the White House, Congress, and in their own communities. They ensure content creators and policy-makers are learning the best practices in discussing these critical issues and the impacts that they have on everyday Americans. Chorus’ network is composed of influencers focused on fashion, food, fitness, beauty, sports, comedy, parenting, and news who want to integrate issues and politics into their content to reach more people authentically. Chorus’ Creator Incubator Program supports emerging progressive online with mentoring to help them engage more people, improve production values, and/or translate their message from one platform to another. Of the 8 Senate races we recommended, 4 won (50%), all of them in states won by Trump. 82% of the funds raised for the Senate went to races that were decided by 5% or less. Nationally six races fell into this category. Force Multiplier was involved in all of them. Mobilization of infrequent voters cut losses but fell short. Force Multiplier also supported a national effort to reach and turn out infrequent voters in seven battleground states in partnership with America Votes. In non-battleground states, the swing to Republicans was 6.6%. In battleground states, the work of the Harris campaign, America Votes and many other groups, limited it to 3.1%. Results from Previous Cycles: 2017-2018: We helped Flip the House We focused exclusively on 15 House candidates challenging incumbent Republicans. 13 of the 15 (87%) won and helped Democrats win a majority in the House of Representatives. 89% of the funds we raised went to races in which the margin of victory was 7% or less. We raised $700,000, and our community grew to 1,200. 2019-2020: We helped Hold the House, Flip the Senate + Win the White House We expanded our work to include candidates for the Senate + voter empowerment groups working in Presidential and Senatorial battleground states. We raised $6.3 million and our community grew to 10,000 contributors. Holding the House We raised $1.2 million for our House candidates. In a year in which the Democrats lost 11 seats, we helped defend 11 and flip one, helping to preserve the majority. In total, we supported 22 candidates, 12 of whom won. 87% of funds raised through Force Multiplier went to races that were decided by less than 7%. We also supported many candidates in competitive races who were unable to retain their seats in the face of heavy Republican turnout with Trump on the ballot. Flipping the Senate We raised $2.8 million for 9 Senate candidates, 7 of them in states Trump won in 2018. In a hyper-partisan election in which ticket splitting was uncommon, we helped flip three seats (CO and two in GA), enough to gain narrow control of the Senate. In total, three of our candidates won and six lost. 65% of funds raised went to races in which the margin of victory was 7% or less. Turning the White House Blue We raised $2.2 million to mobilize voters and to protect the vote. We funded voter empowerment efforts through the Movement Voter Project, supporting more than 60 locally led grassroots groups in seven key states: Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina and Georgia. The five states that flipped in the Presidential election were in this group, as were the two seats that flipped to give us control of the Senate and the only House seat that flipped to help us Hold the House. Our voter protection work with Fair Fight and the DSCC Legal Fund also helped ensure strong turnout in the face of the pandemic and aggressive voter suppression. 2021-2022: We helped to expand the Senate majority and to prevent a red wave in the House We raised over $8.0 million this cycle and our community remained steady at 11,000. Narrowly Losing the House During a cycle in which Democrats had to defend a narrow 5 seat majority, House districts were redrawn with significant Republican gerrymandering. Force Multiplier supported 35 candidates, 23 (66%) of whom won and 12 of whom lost. 85% of the funds we raised went to candidates in races in which the margin of victory was 7% or less. While losing the majority, Democrats bucked historical midterm trends, giving up just 10 seats. Expanding the Senate Majority We supported 8 candidates, 4 of them incumbents, 3 running for open seats and 1 challenger. 5 of them (63%) won, increasing the Democratic majority to 51. One hundred percent of our funds went to Senate races in which the margin of victory was 7% or less. Ensuring that People Can + Do Vote Increase Democratic Turnout in the Midterms: We partnered with America Votes to support 35 grassroots groups in 7 Senate battleground states that focused on mobilizing the 25 million “blue surge” voters who turned out to repudiate Trumpism in 2018 and 2020 but who had not voted in 2016. Collectively these groups knocked on over 3 million doors. Outreach to Rural Voters: Because many of our priority states have significant rural populations, we partnered with the Rural Democracy Initiative to support 7 groups through the Rural Victory Fund. Register, Educate and Mobilize Voters: Our tax-exempt Democracy in Action fund supported 6 locally-led groups in AZ, NV, GA, NC, PA and WI. Fight Gerrymandering: We supported The National Democratic Redistricting Committee. • Return to About FM
