Three viable Democrats are competing to challenge incumbent Republican Tom Barrett: Bridget Brink, William Lawrence and Matt Massdam. Barrett defeated Curtis Hertel in ‘24 by 3.7%. The seat was previously held by now U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin. The Cook Political Report, Sabato’s Cystal Ball and Inside Elections rate this race as Toss-up.
