Three Democrats are seeking to unseat Republican Darrell Issa: Ammar Camp Najja, Brandon Riker, and Marni von Wilpert.  Issa was re-elected by nearly 19% in 2024. However, Prop 50 has redrawn the district to make it more favorable, moving it  from a Trump +6 to a Harris +14 district. Both the Cook Political Report and Sabato’s Crystal Ball currently rate this race as Toss-up.
