Incumbent Republican Michael Lawler won in 2024 by only 3.3% and both Decision Desk HQ and Roll Call have him on their lists of most vulnerable House incumbents.  Currently, there are 6 viable Democrats in the primary including the apparent leaders: Cait Conley, Beth Davidson and Effie-Phillips Staley.  The race is rated Toss-up by the Cook Political Report and Lean Republican by Sabato’s Crystal Ball.
